Identity fraud rates in Greater London are more than eight times as high as those in the North, according to new figures from Experian.
There were 72 ID fraud attempts for every 100,000 London adults in 2010 – compared with just 9 in the North and 5 in Northern Ireland. The map shows ID fraud rates by county – the rest of the South East had the second highest ID fraud rates, followed by the West Midlands.
